Eben Horton

Eben first began blowing glass in high school in Newport, RI. Finding his passion, he then went on to study classical methods of glass blowing at the School for American Crafts at RIT in Rochester, NY, as well as at the Penland School of Crafts, the Corning Museum of Glass, and Urban Glass. Specializing in Venetian glass blowing techniques, Eben has created a collection of breath-taking work. He is the creator of the enormously popular Glass Float Project an art installation and scavenger hunt on Block Island, started in 2011.
Eben opened the Glass Station in 2000 in an old gas station located right off Main Street in Wakefield, RI. Today, the gallery and studio has expanded to its new location on Main Street where Eben and his wife Jen Nauck blow glass.
