Cast from a real fish, Aural Fluke is literally and figuratively elevated in direct contrast to the lifetime it spent concealed in sand and mud. The sculpture eloquently highlights the beauty of the fluke’s uncommon form while imbuing it with the luminous blue-green aura of the tidal zone, where sunlight glows through the water as it gently brushes the sea floor.
