Description
12"h x 12"w
cast dichroic glass sculpture on steel base
This cast glass sculpture features embedded impressions of shells and marine textures, shimmering with blue-violet tones from dichroic glass, which will change color depending on the type of light that illuminates it and the angle from which it is viewed. Evoking a fossilized seafloor, the piece captures the otherworldly luminescence of life beneath the waves.
The piece sits in a custom made steel base, creating the perfect meeting place between organic and industrial.
This work is included in the exhibition Beneath There is Light, on view at The Glass Station Gallery from June 6-19
