Description
10"h x 10"w x 3"d
cast dichroic glass panel in steel frameCertain stones are predisposed to ‘botryoidal habit,’ developing clusters of round forms which build upon one another into a complex structure. Botryoidal Bliss celebrates this natural phenomena, existing as contrast and complement to Sinkus’ more angular, traditional geologic works. The ‘bubbles’ cast in glass replicate the softness and inflexibility of botryoidal stones, features as disparate as they are pleasing to view.
This work is included in the exhibition Beneath There is Light, on view at The Glass Station Gallery from June 6-19
