A cluster of salmon-pink oyster mushrooms becomes a sculptural portrait of growth and decay. Shane Dorey captures the layered forms of the fruiting bodies in glass, giving a fleeting woodland presence a lasting place on the wall.

Handmade and one of a kind, Pink Oyster Mushroom I belongs to Alchemy, Dorey’s exploration of the natural world through magical realism.
