Vibrant green glass gathers in intricately textured layers, turning an often-overlooked natural subject into an arresting wall sculpture. In Slime Mold, Shane Dorey finds an otherworldly beauty in organic growth, inviting the viewer to look more closely at the unfamiliar.

Handmade and one of a kind, this work is featured in Alchemy, an exhibition where observation and imagination intertwine.
