The first bowl in of Eben Horton's new Spring Spiral series, this piece is a playful example of technical excellence, combining two types of cane glass in the difficult-but-so-worthwhile encalmo method. (And it features Eben's signature wave foot.)
Each piece is in the series is made from hand-pulled glass cane, stretched across the length of the Glass Station Studio in a perfect demonstration of teamwork between glassblowers. The resulting cane is arranged in patterns and used to create a uniquely elegant piece of art.
