Jen Violette is known for her one of a kind multimedia sculptures which combine elements of her rural Vermont surroundings, by using hand blown glass, stainless steel and mahogany.  As she strives to recreate plant structures with molten glass, Violette has mastered the use of glass powders to preserve the colors and textures found in nature.

She says, “Since the growing season is relatively short in Vermont, I enjoy gardening with molten glass to extend my growing season.”
