The Cascade and Flow Series were inspired by cascading water, nature's raw and unwavering force. During the process of creation, like the flowing water, Spake carves into the stone-like, opaque, patterned surface of the glass to reveal its translucent interior.  Spake is inspired by water's ability to alter rock and how, as H. Jackson Browne, Jr.,  has said, "In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins, not through strength, but by persistence."

The vase is flattened and measures 7" x 7" x 2.5"
