Born in 1977 near Detroit, Michigan, Andrew Madvin is a glass artist and founder of Axiom Glass Studio. Early interests in nature and building led him to metals and jewelry work in high school, where he earned national awards and professional experience.

Madvin studied at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where he shifted from jewelry to sculpture and discovered glass as his primary medium. He continued his training at California College of the Arts and Pilchuck Glass School, attending on full scholarship.

In 2000, he opened Axiom Glass Studio in Detroit—a 10,000-square-foot facility dedicated to producing original, handcrafted glass work. His limited edition and one-of-a-kind sculptures reflect a strong connection to natural forms and a commitment to craftsmanship.
