Danny Polk Jr. is a glass artist based in Bernville, Pennsylvania, known for his expressive, hand-blown works that explore the dynamic relationship between heat, gravity, and human creativity.

Polk discovered his passion for glass during his studies at Salisbury University, where he earned his BFA in 2010. Since then, he has worked alongside several accomplished glass artists across the country, refining his skills and deepening his understanding of the medium. 

Utilizing a combination of traditional and modern techniques, Polk creates pieces that reflect a deep, personal relationship between artist and medium. His work captures the fluid, physical forces inherent in molten glass, presenting finished forms that balance control with natural movement.

Today, Polk owns and operates Grateful Gathers Glass, where he continues to explore and push the possibilities of hot glass, bringing his vision to life one piece at a time.
